ADDICTIONS
Dr. Silke is a locally and nationally certified addiction counselor. If you have an alcohol or drug problem, she can assist you in recognizing how the addiction affects your life and how you can make positive changes to recover from it. She can help you if you have an internet, love, sex, food addiction, workaholism etc. All addictions can affect your health, relationships, and work. They can control your life.
Twelve Step programs may provide you with the social support needed to strengthen recovery. These groups encourage you to connect with your Higher Power to gain inner strength and faith. Dr. Silke has created a CD called Awakening which assists you in the process of connecting and working with your Higher Power. This CD will show you how to connect with your Higher Power and ask for solutions and input. By becoming relaxed and quiet and listening carefully you may receive new awareness/input that will help you in your life. Learning how to discern the information you receive will be part of the learning process.
