Christmas is a perfect time to think of the friends you have that care for you and have your back. It's a blessing when you have such friends. Let them know how much you appreciate them. Friendships are precious and need to be nurtured and celebrated. It is human nature to take friendships for granted. Your friends will be happy you let them know how much they mean to you.

Not having enough time to get things done

This time pressure is particularly present during the holiday season. Do you feel it? You rush to buy presents, prepare food, decorate your home, invite people over to your home, etc. It seems you are "time poor". When you feel you just cannot get it all done, it is wise to think about letting go of some plans and simplify things. Accepting your time limitations is a good step towards creating more inner peace and harmony.

Being Critical

It's very easy to be critical and judgmental. In traffic you may criticize other drivers for making stupid mistakes and risking accidents. People close to you often "don't get it" even after you explained things several times. At times you may be critical with yourself for repeatedly doing things wrong. Are you aware of what triggers your critical attitude? Becoming aware helps greatly to shift to more acceptance and gentleness with yourself and others. Nobody is perfect and acceptance of this human condition creates more inner peace.
